I've been searching for this song for some years now. I found someone who wanted to swap it (forgot who he was) but it never came to that. If there's someone who has it and is willing to send it to me (I'm not on the hub)...

I only have an mp3 of it. Not sure where it is though (yikes). So, filter this through how much you'd normally trust my memory!

1.which role is roger playing in this song?
Produces it, wrote it and plays all instruments. Pretty sure there are recognisable backing vocals too.

2.can you hear that he´s involved?
If you can recognise his bass playing, undoubtedly....still think BVs may be identifiable too

3.is it any good for
a.a queen fan?
Completists only, to be honest.

b.for a fan of new wave music?
Dunno, but if I find one, I'll ask em. I doubt it, otherwise the single would be more valuable (in the same way that obscure Northern Soul is).

4.is there a cover?
I *think* there was

5.how many were pressed?
Not many I'd expect. An independent label in 1979 wouldn't be able to afford many for an unknown (as I type, I wonder if RT didn't actually pay for the pressing...), and I've only ever seen one copy advertised for sale (and I've been looking too). I'd say about 1000, most of which will lie in the bottom of cupboards, or been thrown away.
6.what is the price for an original copy?
See above. Tiny amount of copies left, but very few people looking to buy them, but those that do want it will automatically be fairly hardcore collectors (as opposed to collectors of hardcore, yes you "flashman") which would drive the price up. I'd pay £20 for one right now, £40 if I was flush. And it would have to be in mint condition too.

7.can anyone please put it on the hub or soulseek for me,please?
I don't use the hub and I don't frequent dating services (I assume that is the function of this "soulseek" you speak of). If it does turn up, I'll let you know and we can sort something out.

As PG ... Except - I think a mint copy (in mint sleeve) would now start around £50.00 - simply because it is the sleeve which suffers most damage, and the "cheap" paper sleeves are now almost impossible to find without "ringwear".

Does RT feature on Rich Kid Blues? I think I read somewhere that he only played on the a-side & not on the b-side (I think it was on the IQSO site).

The tracks is quite good IMO, one of the better collaborations. One of the very few collaborations which I think are really worth buying.

So much for IQSO...

"How Come Your So Dumb"
Roger Taylor: Produced, keyboards, drums, guitars and bass.

"Rich Kid Blues"
Roger Taylor: Produced, keyboards, drums, guitars and bass.

It actually says so on both the back of the sleeve AND on the record labels!

Thanks John, I just checked and they indeed mentioned that Roger didn't "seem to be involved with the b-side".

The a-side is great, but the b-side isn't that interesting. I'd still buy the record if I saw it though.... But haven't seen it once in the last few years - so I have to do with mp3's...

So I don't really understand, is this a solo track of Roger?

No, but he wrote, produced and played all/99% of the instruments on it. Only the lead vocals aren't RT.
