There is already a large number of bands dedicated to Queen that have been on the UK & European circuit for a while now.

But this time I agree with Steve. The Miracle is really one of the bests. I don't come to London cause I'm Dutch, so I can see them in my own country.

I got to try al little more,

because I'm an asshole but I'm learning.

Looking at their web-site and speaking on here with their lead singer, i would say amatuers like Miracle should stay in the Netherlands, we already have numerous professional bands in the UK, bands who spend more than 3 hours a week in rehearsal, and listening to Miracle's sound files my god, i felt sorry for the cat they were strangling.

You'll have to excuse Harvey. He's not used to playing well with others.

You'll have to excuse Zeni, she thinks she knows everything about everybody, the new improved version is no better either.

Touche, dear Harv. Your stinging comment has left me speechless. At least now, you have the nerve to attack me openly and not hide behind some newly-created persona.

Cheers

I think that Harvey has some sort of major chip on his shoulder. Do you think that people in Mercury are the only people that are allowed to have a Queen tribute band?

From the sound clips I have heard of Miracle, they sound very good. For some reason you are on a crusade to bash other tribute bands.

I'll say, Zeni...

I have heard Miracle even before they were known as Miracle. One example of Miracle outside of Holland is, for example, the Queen convention in 2002. I have never heard The prophets song performed live before this (Queen didn't even do that!). I've been told that Jacky even left her beer to watch this, and I think that says something...

They may practice for just three hours a week, but that's just the practice they have together, that's not counting the practice they do themselves at home. Besides... every Miracle-member is a Queen-fan. They know the music by heart! They also don;t have to study an 'act', since Miracle are Queen-sound-alikes, not look-alikes...

I used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out.

I went to see 'Magic' in Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago and they restored my faith in tribute bands. They don't go out of their way to sound or even look like Queen yet still manage to put on a great show.
I sincerely hope that 'Miracle plays a few dates in Scotland as I have heard nothing but great things about them.
The worst tribute band I have ever seen has to be 'Mercury'.
I saw them in Ayr in February and they were so bad that not only did I walk out, I felt like hanging around the stage door afterwards and kicking the shit out of them.
Mark my words, if they ever set foot in Scotland again I will break every bone in their talentless bodies and boot them back down the A1.
Fucking tossers.

fatty.

I've seen Magic and wasn't particularly struck on them. I quite like Killer Queen, plus there a few that I have seen and thought positive things about. My favourite though has to be Queen Rocks as basically there is no pretence, they just play the music (and play it damn well!).

Hahaha... Hails to Fatty!

Miracle is DAMN IMPRESSIVE! I don't know that many tribute bands... I shouldn't be the judge... but so far from what I heard they are gorgeous.

Well I like Miracle very much, cause you can see although they might not rehearse together a lot (I know they want more), the sound is perfect. When you go to a gig than you are sure to have a good time. They are very good musicians and good friends. They don't back out for a challenge like the Prophet's Song.

What I don't like at all is pretenders (like Mercury or Queenmania or any other so called coverband) that prance around on stage and learn the Magic show out of there heads or copy any other live performance and BE Freddie.

If I want to see Freddie Mercury I'll watch a video!!

Miracle plays real music.

The rest(Mercury, Queenmania, JSS, others...)is all an act.

"I have never heard The prophets song performed live before this (Queen didn't even do that!).""

They did - from 1975 to 1977 I think.

Miracle live kicks ass - their live-albums aren't that good IMO. I've got the first one and heard snippets from the new one , but somehow it doesn't get me - while their live shows are great. By far the best coverband I've seen, though Nilsson @ the DQM in 2000 was also great, but they weren't a real coverband, they just did a Queen set.

When and where are Miracle playing in London, I can't see any mention of it on the future gigs listing on their website.
Miracle are the best tribute band I have ever seen or heard and after 15 conventions I have heard a few.

Theres a Nortern-Irish tribute band called Flash Harry that are meant to be very good; I have never had the pleasure of seeing them live though.

I've only ever seen one tribute band..." Magic - a kind of queen" and they were great... super harmonies!

and a decent setlist too!
