Altough I am a big Led Zep lover, Innuendo by Rob at the Freddie tribute is... awful.

With all due respect.

But on the other side, it was great for me to hear Innuendo live. It's one of my favorite songs. Period.

The "Kinda Womon intro" was part of the Led Zeppelin song "Thank You" from Led Zeppelin II

"If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you."
"When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me."

"Kind woman, I give you my all, Kind woman, nothing more."

The reason that I mention Innuendo sung by Robert Plant is... that until the re-vamp of Queenzone I never heard it!

Innuendo live is a killer.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't care for Led Zep...

I thought Seal was wonderful! My SECOND favorite performance of that concert.

What's the best deal to see the most of the concert? The DVD or the VHS version?

I rather think Paul Young has a good voice for that song. Maybe he was a little off that day but I still liked his version.

To see the majority of the concert you need the tape or laserdisc version. That version is close to 3 hours long.

I dont know if the people who were at the tribute remember, But i remember when Extreme came on stage and started the medley...the sound was SHIT!!! But It was sorted for the beginning of KYA. But I enjoyed Innuendo, although when that kicked in it took a few lines before you could here Robert Plant. Different, but enjoyable.

I don't remember Extreme sounding bad. I think I was just so bowled over by the medley. i thought it was very brave, and done very well (i.e with a certain amount of their own interpretation). Although I liked Metallica at the time, I always thought they were a strange choice for the openers of the show, as any non-Queen/rock fans watching on TV might have been put off, whereas if they stuck it out until Extreme might have been more encouraged.

Generally, though, I thought the whole thing was fantastic. I discovered Queen too late to see them in concert, so this was the best I was gonna get!!!

YEah

I thought Extreme was the best band from the first half (I was really into them at the time and still are into them and Nuno's new band)

The similarities are kept being made of Innuendo and Kashmir

To me they sound nothing alike - I think both songs kick arse though (Innuendo just a little more) but they don't sound the same at all

Not from my trained musical ear anyway

Top 3 acts from the 2nd half of the Tribute Concert

1) George Michael (I don't think I need to explain the
reason)
2) Robert Plant (Excellent - the only reson people didn't
like his Innuendo is cos it didn't sound like Fred -
but then again who does or did, Rob brough his own style
and performance to Innuendo and CLTCL and the kicked
ass)
3) Gary Cherone great performance and sheer energy - great
rock performance)

Guys guys guys!!! and gals of course.... Extreme was the best act of that night!!!!
And to also think I didnt know who extreme was until I saw the tributre concert I was freaking impress!
,massively ego'd band writing their own anthems in there little rock circuits... but in solid memory they have Queen as their patriots. totally rocks.

I think after being spoiled by too many tribute shows to this day I can safely say when Extreme came out with that medley on '92 it was another way of bringing back the live Aid vibe to the event with a few diffrent song..... electrifying!

then metallica came on...**I shut my mouth**
