Roger covered a Bob Dylan's tune in Strange Frontier, his solo album from 1984:

And above all, "the answer" is still blowing in the wind. :)

I think the more burning question here is, what's your favorite John Deacon bass line (on Queen)?

After Roger did Masters of War, Dylan did a lame cover of Fun It.

Wow. Poor song.

I hate Bob Dylan. Him and that damn harmonica/mouth organ of his.

Apparently Roger and Bob had sort of a fling. ;)

I hope not.

His music is awful. The guy could have the best lyrics in the world, but to me his music is just painful to listen to.

I think Bob Dylan has written a lot of great songs, but..his voice isn't the best. But it fits some of the songs. I like the covers of his songs by The Byrds :)

Well, yeah, the cover Roger did, and also i think he sang Mr Tambourine Man live sometime. That song is great!

Uhmm now you say it, Drowse seems a Dylan's song, great lyrics, but "short" musically. A sad song

And as the seasons turn the days to years

She holds her pictures, hears the silent cheers

The days grow lonely for the dancing Queen

And now she dances only in her dreams...

"good lyrics, boring music"

Very true... but his focal point was never the music - it was the words. So if you're into quality "music" regardless of words, Dylan isn't the guy for you.
