I like the "Live Killers"-version of that song pretty much.

When I was little, I always thought it was a Broadway song. :-)

It's a brilliant song but I am outraged and very displeased with the chart place that it got in the U.S, what was it like 81 or summit? Awful, absolutley awful!

Great song, but I agree that the LK version is the best. It just has some much more energy and emotion. Much more ballsy.

Should be fun to see that in Shaun Of The Dead. I hear it takes on new meaning!

Yes I agree, I do like the studio version also, but the live one is better and also ends properley too, instead of fading out Freddie's lovely la la la la laaaaa bits.

Not only a great song, but a great piano part from Freddie. I would love to be able to play piano if only to play the piano line from this song!

It's always amazing to me personally that people never get what FM says in that song, its all about having a "good time", mainly about the gay bar scene at the time and FM even goes so far as to wear a "Mineshaft" t-shirt in the video...he certainly took a chance back in the day and he was way ahead of his time in that respect anyway. But, these facts seem to be overlooked by most people. Amazing!

Those that knew him including a journalist friend of mine would agree FM liked to be in-your-face and loved to shock people.

"Gonna make a supersonic man out of you..."

Go Freddie! LOL!!! Got to love him!

Kriz ;o)
