ROGER TAYLOR - LIQUID FIRE Artist: Roger Taylor Date: 24th March 1999 Source: AUD LineageCDR--->CDParanoia--->FLAC (I am a Linux User so EAC is not an option for me. CdParanoia is the Linux equivalent and just as good) Size 394MB Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh, UK. 24th March 1999 Total time 73,56 We will rock you Pressure on A nation of haircuts Believe in yourself I want to break free No more fun Tonight A kind of magic Surrender These are the days of our lives Under pressure I'm in love with my car Tenement funster Strange frontier Happiness Probably the best sounding Roger Taylor concert of 1999. Not a complete show as C'mon Down London Town is cut. There is a fade out at the end of under pressure and fades back in for I'm in Love with my car. This was done to make it 1 CD I remember emailing the actual taper who said he had done that and then accidentally blanked the minidisc, so this is as much as is out there. I have decided to do this show as opposed to some of the other ones for a few reasons. 1. As I said I think it is the best quality Roger 1999 concert out there. There are some other stonking ones, namely the Glasgow, Sheffield and Wolverhampton shows, but this has some extra definition to the actual sound, and I think it is crisper 2. It's a 1 Cd show. It is a taster for roger solo, some people may want more, they may not, so therefore it is a testing ground. 3. They have a technical break where Jason Faloon is having a problem with his guitar and you get a little interaction with Roger, more so than is normal in Rogers's 1999 tour. 4. I was in the audience! If you listen just before No More fun, when they are having a few technical difficulties, and roger says, "You wont believe this, this is the first break down on the entire tour" you can hear someone shouting Molly Malone.. that is yours truly, fuelled by 10 pints of Guinness! :-) Also got a wink and wave from Treanna Morris... Hopefully you enjoy it, was a great night and a great concert. So In Short I was there ...done that...and still have the T-Shirt! Hopefully you enjoy it. As you did for my last torrent, please keep your windows open, so others can download them. ************************************************* DO NOT CONVERT TO MP3 OR OTHER LOSSY FORMATS! ************************************************* My Trade list is at http://www.QueenCD.free-online.co.uk if anyone has any requests, Whiteman

I can't believe this is encoded in Flac. It came from a minidisc man! That's only mildly better than MP3. Ah well, I'll still download it. My brother always tells me I should've gone with him to the Glasgow show. Guess this is closest I'll get! Peace, Adam.

just listened to about half of this concert. The sound is great. Amazing for an audience recording considering some of them out there. Great songs as well. Great hearing live versions.

You can pause it as necessary. The problem you will run into is if people start to leech, then your seeders will decrease and the download might get slower. DJ's the man we love the most

Which if sone right sound great. This one has A1 soud on it. FLAC us lossless. MP3 is lossy. Would you prefer I share as MP£, someone downloads it and trades it on audio CD and pollutes the trade pool? I will not trade anything in MP3. Even if my next seen is a dodgy copy someone made wit a tape recorder up his dufflecoat, in 1975, It will still be FLAC. I'm not forcing you to download it. Whiteman

I think you took me a little too seriously White! I was only thinking about the download time for something that is similar to MP3. Minidisc also records to a lossy format. Sorry to bring it up. :(

Sorry to bring it up. :( Minidisc does to record to a lossy format. But the loss if done right is negligable. And when you have the master why make it worse by mp3ing it? The loss in sound quality in comparison to MP3 is unjustified, it is like comparing watching a cinema movie on DVD and then on a dodgy VHS on a black and white TV. I just cannot see the comparison. Mp3 are ok for a quick listen to somthing, but in my opinion is an abomination for trading circles who like to preserve the quality of the original recording. If people mp3'd concerts which are already ropey quality converted them back to wav, then remp3'd them they would be totally unlistenable.
