How do these things sneak out to the general public? I've seen that soundboard recordings of some bands are more plentiful than others, but how do they get out in the first place? It seems that Queen did not have as many as other bands, so did they just have better security or poor mixing equipment?

The only Queen soundboard recordings that haven't come from a radio broadcast or video are London 3-31-74 and Cleveland 1-23-77, to my knowledge. No clue where they came from.

But I do know that many Led Zeppelin soundboard recordings of concerts were stolen from Jimmy Page's house about 15 years ago. It's funny how Pagey says he found his old masters, on bootlegs! He's the biggest Zeppelin collector of them all.

From a radio broadcast, yes.

Isn't Chicago 1978 a soundboard recording that wasn't broadcasted on the radio???

You've never seen nothing like it, no never in your life. Like going up to heaven and then coming back alive.

Yes, but they're originally from either radio broadcasts or videos.

"Isn't Chicago 1978 a soundboard recording that wasn't broadcasted on the radio???"

Nope, it's definitely an audience recording.

I hope this helps:

São Paulo - Brazil
Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
Brasília - Brazil

Buenos Aires - Argentina
Bariloche - Argentina
Rosario - Argentina

Oh, and Santiago is in Chile.

Chicago is probably an audience recording but definitely the best one from the tour.

Hey Ogre--!

You forgot these ones:
Córdoba - Argentina
Mar del Plata - Argentina
Colonia - Uruguay
Montevideo - Uruguay

I've seen those misplaced too.

Cheers!

Seattle is an audience recording.

I thought it was a soundboard for years... but it's not!
