It was only $15, too! Damn! Not that I could've gone at all...

Yes! I gambled and I won! I ALMOST decided to go to the concert but decided that Brian may not appear and I'd be screwed. Whoo hoo!

Damn!
It's the second time that this happens to me. Do you think it's easy for a 22 year old fan who lives in Mexico to have this kind of oportunity to see his idol in concert?
Well, I had the opportunity to go to Party in the Park 2002 but Brian did not show up, only the WWRY Musical Cast did.
Now, with the help and support from my parents, I was able to buy 3 tickets for Clapton's Guitar Festival in Dallas. I even skipped class (of my Masters degree) to buy them online.
Can you imagine how frustrating this is for me??! It's the second time I have this "once in a lifetime oportunity" and then it bombs.
Maybe us fans should understand Brian... I mean, he is REALLY busy (-_-). I used to like WWRY the musical, but I'm starting to hate it, specially after this.

Damn!

I'm very surprised that he opted out. I know that Eric Clapton is really, really a hero to him. I thought that he would momentarily pause any projects just to appear with him. But, if any of these projects are these three songs with Freddie vocals on them, it will all be worth it.

Too bad, Wiley, I really feel sorry for you. What a disappointment.

I don't know why, but I saw this coming a mile away! It does suck & I am sorry for all who have bought tickets solely based on Brian's appearance. I would have thought that would have been a great chance to step away from all his work pressures and blow off some steam. Chances are he could have stole the show. Now we'll never know. TOTAL BUMMER!!!! :(

Gee, I wonder why he decided to be on the bill at the Crossroads gig when he knew he wouldn't be able to attend. Sound silly doesn't it ? Buggers, Bismillah Etc.
