The following lines from Brians Soapbox say everything about the chance of a knebworth release on dvd.

"And of course there were no "Iso's" recorded on the day - ie no signals from individual cameras were fed to video machines. This means that what you saw on the day is all there is; no re-editing can be done. Unbelievably, this was also true even for the Queen's Jubilee concert much more recently - it only costs the price of hiring a couple of video machines for an evening - but if nobody thought to do it, for ever after, it's too late. Same goes for our last ever show at Knebworth, sadly."

--> no chance.

How about old-fashioned CD then...? Gee, why everybody is so "up to standards" nowadays... What about good old-fashioned stereo sound (don't give a toss about 5.1 or DTS- the crap gig will remain crap and the good one will be still good even in mono...) and CD album...

Don't get me wrong- it's awesome if we can get Queen live in DTS but I DON'T HAVE TO have it in surround... If for some reason it's impossible to mix it this way, I don't mind stereo AT ALL... I'm gonna be equally happy with any live material release...

Anyone who heard the UP single release from GHIII knows that the "knebworth mix" included, sounded better than wembley. And this has been brought up before, performance and sound were better. I agree it's time for a cd release. Quite a lot of fans want it.

Peace,
Adam.

Don't give a toss about video- audio is sth that matters... And no, he doesn't confirm that they have the footage... The picture could have been going ON SCREENS ONLY- it doesn't mean it was recorded... QP claims they DON'T HAVE the whole show's footage... What's wrong with audio CD in this case, than...? Anyway, one DVD from "Magic Tour" is pretty much enough- you have an idea... The great sound though and also one of the best performances the band ever gave (faaar better than Wembley) is sth worth the release...
