These are a couple of clips I've been able to find online of famous rock band bloopers...

METALLICA (1992?)
Jason Newstead tumbles after missing a step on the stairs while performing.

GUNS N' ROSES - LISBON (1992?-1993?)
Axl falls on his ass after running and slipping on a wet part of the stage after a light rain.

NIRVANA (MTV AWARDS 1992)
Kris Novoselic tosses his guitar up in the air, without realizing that it would fall back and hit his head.

Do anyone know about any similar bloopers of this kind? Perhaps any that might have occured to Queen.

And as the seasons turn the days to years

She holds her pictures, hears the silent cheers

The days grow lonely for the dancing Queen

And now she dances only in her dreams...

James Hetfield standing too close to the pyro's (91 I think). 2nd degree burning wounds were the result.

You should see what she does during a number on the Mike Douglas Show. John & Yoko were the co-hosts for a week in '72 (available on Brazilian DVD, highly recommended) and one guest was John's idol, Chuck Berry. Halfway through a song Yoko decides it would sound better with some primal screams thrown in. The look on Chuck Berry's face was priceless. Later they cut her mic but you could see her still trying :)

So Many July 2003:
while we were playing in a local, 2 policemen came in called from the neighbourhood complaining for the loud volume(it wasn't so loud, but it was 00.30, quite late for that place)...we had to stop the concert (luckily we just cut a couple of songs)

the nickelback stuff is :D taking stones is not what bands like!!!!

Should I include the Montreal incident for the Guns N' Roses/Metallica tour of 1992 in which James Hetfield lit on fire after he accidentaly stood over a pyro?

Brian got hit with a shitload of eggs during a show while wearing a white shirt.

During a 1995 show in Indio, California, members of Pearl Jam's audience began beaning them with hundreds of shoes.

Gene Simmons' hair caught fire during a KISS show.

Bob Dylan's award show performance was taken over by a guy with "Soy Bomb" written on his chest.

During a Dead Kennedys show, East Bay Ray did something stupid to his guitar. Jello Biafra proceeded to tell the hilarious story "Night of the Living Rednecks". When he was done, Ray had not yet repared his guitar. ("Are you finished with the guitar yet, Ray? He's not done! What do you want to hear now, I'm out of stories!")

I hate to burst someone's bubble in here, but a guitarist breaking a string isn't quite an unusual event in a concert. However, someone getting stuff thrown at them and forcing them to leave, is. :)

It's more rare to see a bass player go mad and try to cut the drummer.

Dee Schnider was once thrown a piece of shit when Twisted Sister was playing in Scotland.

Fortunately for Dee the shit shot missed it's target.
