You can burn a VCD from Hyde Park.

Open Nero and choose "VideoCD", make sure that PAL is enabled. Now drag and drop the AVSEQ.DAT file (the big file) from your Harddrive into the NERO window. Nero will check the file. Then burn the CD and watch it in a VCD player.

If you cannot do this for some reason, rename the AVSEQ.DAT file into AVSEQ.mpg and watch it in your windows media player.

Edit: you can also burn mpg files on a CD and play them in WMP but Hyde Park is too big, it won't fit on one CD, you would have to cut it into 2 files.

You mean NTSC... and yes, of course you can make a VCD in this format as well. Use the exact same method, but select NTSC instead of PAL. It may not matter for you though, since many DVD players will play both formats, anyway...

I haven't yet tried to re-encode PAL to NTSC with Nero but Bob apparently did, so it's possible. The video files are all mpg for PAL but as Bob correctly pointed out it does not matter as long as you play them on your PC. Only on American standalones you will have problems because your TV most likely won't display PAL. In this case try to burn a NTSC VCD with Nero as Bob suggested or re-encode the file to NTSC with TPMGEnc - a free and easy-to-use software.

Video CD NTSC is : MPEG-1 352x240 29,97fps
Video CD PAL is : MPEG-1 352x288 25fps

Actually Barbara, my tv has no problems showing a PAL VCD. PAL DVD is another story, of course... :)

Actually most modern TV's, VCR's and DVD players has auto switch between PAL and NTSC. So if your equipment isn't too old it may work anyway.
