How hard are Brian May's licks to play and how experienced a guitarist are you?

Which guitarist (in your opinion) has the hardest licks to play in Rock?

What the easiest licks to learn?

Thanks,

Kriz ;o)

Brians licks aren't that hard to play. But it's hard to recreate the emoution he plays with, or his style.

Dunno about the guitarists with the hardest licks, Probably virtuoses (sp?) like Petrucci or Malmsteen. I however have no intention in trying to play like them because I don't like that kind of show-off crap at all. I rather have a slow emotional solo in a slow song then 64th notes in a slow song

A good guitarist knows when he should be quiet!

Brians licks are not too terribly difficult for the experianced guitarist, but to recreate the sound, as well as the multi-tracked lines IS pretty maddening. If you have, say 5 parts, and one of those is either out of tune a bit, or a little off tempo, it ruins the whole effect, and makes it sound amateur-ish!!!
