I just saw this film last night. I was in tears for more than half of it, even though it doesnt make as much of the 9/11 attrocities as i thought it would. Michael Moore has clearly uncovered a lot with plenty of back up research. Im still on the fence, cos i know saddam hussein was a bad bad man and needed sorting out, but i still think osama bin laden got away with murder. Have any of you seen it and what did u think?

Expect a lot of right wing bashing, soon.

We all know from who.

Watched it a couple of nights ago... I think it only looks on everything from 1 side and it's a bit manipulative at some points, but it has some good moments (Bush at the school etc).

There are some occasional half-truths in the movie, but essentially, everything said in it is true.

Yeah, but it's sometimes edited so it looks like something which it isn't. For example, there's an interview with Bush where he talks about terrorists and then tells the journalists to look at him swing during golf... It's edited to look like it's an 9/11 interview, while it actually was from another (much smaller) attack.

Oh yeah, it's no secret that he exaggerates a bit now and again. But much of that such material was there for the humour element.

Is it another one of those "The Whole Universe VS. USA" movies? Or is this a documentary?

I saw the movie a few days after its debut in the US. I've never been a bush fan & I wasn't too surprised at Michael Moore's accusations on him and all the stuff he seemed to do wrong. I suppose it can be a bit of an eye opener. But the way i see it, people will always have complaints about the U.S. president. Politics suck.

For anyone who enjoyed 'Farenheit 9/11' I would strongly recommend 'OUTFOXED'.

It's a new documentary about the lies and distortion of the truth from FOX News to convince the Americans public that they're the only "fair and balanced" news channel, when in fact they're the most manipulative news network in America.

I still don't like the presentation of the film. Very hacked editing, bad voice overs, inside jokes, etc.

Thing is, I don't think Michael Moore was TRYING to make a film that presented all sides of the issue. He's mad as hell and wants everyone to know. It's not so much a documentary as a filmed editorial.

That's what a lot of the folks who have been writing angry letters to my local newspaper are missing. He wasn't TRYING to be fair and balanced, and didn't claim to be doing so, and therefore he cannot be attacked for it. That's like attacking Tim Burton because his movies aren't believable enough, or Alfonso Cuaron because he did not stick to the book. You cannot go after a director for failing to accomplish something that was not their goal in the first place.

Personally, I think - and my dad, a moderate, agrees with me - that all Americans need to see this movie.

God wants you to send me some money.

I thought that was CNN's job.

i think it was intended like that U.P. its like a kinda disturbing mish mash of news clips and mini dv filming. like an off the hand documentary. i kinda liked it for the odd editing. not the usual hollywood sausagery!
