No

It's a heraldic symbol - either a Lion Rampant or a Griffin or something.

It is not holding a trident and it is much more detailed than the stylised devil that used to have the words "football club" under it back in the good old days...

Is it just me,or was Roger wearing several more layers of clothing than Brian and John(or anyone else there)?? I guess either he gets cold easy or gets so hot playing the drums that he has to peel off the layers(not that I minded watching).
