How many here have heard the Montreal '82 concert? It is in the same class as Milton Keynes and has nice versions of Hot Space songs. But there's one big difference between '81 and '82. You can hear the audience. The bootleg wich you can find at the hub. You hear the audience pretty damn well better than during the filming of WWRY. They sing louder than the music and they clap a lot.

Why is Montreal '82 so much better than Montreal '81 (I mean the audience).

The audience's volume just wasn't raised in the mix. But again, when you observe them in the video, most of the time they're looking pretty dull and disinterested.
