I know "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to that guy from Trident (was his name Norman?). How about Flick of the Wrist? Is that about him too? The subject matter is similar, but I know FOTW is a year earlier.

I had'nt really given it any thought but now you mention it, it seems very plausible.

That actually makes more sense than what I thought. I thought it was about a pimp.

That's what I had thought. It sounds like it's about the same guy.

I can't prove it, but yes, I'm sure that if FOTW had a dedication, it would have been to the same *!#&?@ "person". My suspicion: FOTW was too (get this) SUBTLE, and didn't offend quite as well as intended, so DOTL was intended to hammer home the point without leaving room for doubt.

Billy Squier's "Stroke" is another song that contains a similar theme.

Not to derail the conversation, but I always thought that was about gay sex. Seriously. Maybe I should read the lyrics. ;)

I'd made myself believe it was about cricket.

I have always thought that Flick of the Wrist was about their management and the financial problems that occured therein. Also, to a lesser extent, In The Lap of the Gods revisited seemed to be a bit influenced by the management fiasco.

LOL...I thought the same thing about The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke the first time I heard it. My friends still don't believe it's based on a painting!

They’ve sold poster of it too in Tate gallery.

And you can look to this page also:

There are alot of other pages about Dadd, so I accidentaly chose this one.
