One of my co-workers and also a friend has been sent to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.

She was pregnant expecting her second child, doctors didn't find anything wrong with the way the pregnancy was carrying on for 9 months, but at the moment of delivery they decided for some reason to do a cesarean section.
The baby was born without a major problem, and apparently the C-section was successful, but the doctors didn't now that they accidentally cut part of her intestines which caused and internal bleeding, and had to send her back to surgery after they found that something was wrong.

It's too late to throw blames on people, but all I hope is that she gets better. She's one of the coolest people at work, and there's absolutely no one who doesn't like her. Some people at work actually went to the Hospital and ended up in tears after finding out what happened.

Although I'm not a religious person I will be praying for her. Nothing could bring us more hapiness right now than knowing that she's going to be OK.

Yeah, you're right... It's too late and, above all, useless to blame the butchers who made that... I only hope the mess is not too big...

And the baby... No, she have to get better... I don't believe in God too, so all I can do is tell you to be strong and to stay close to her family during these painful moments...

Let us know, OK?

Thanks guys

Regardless of whether you believe in God or not, at times like these all we can do is be positive and hope for the best.

If praying and meditating also helps, that's good too.

You are right, I've always envied people who could find help in praying... It seems it can give a strong helping hand in some occasions...

Anyway, I really wish everything will be ok...

It is so sad, that what should be the happiest of times for a couple can turn so quickly in the opposite direction. Im sure your friend and her family will gain much strength knowing that she has so many good friends willing her through this awful time.
Stay strong.

I cried today, because I realized it was over one year ago this month that I lost my friend to breast cancer. I cried because me and my friends were talking about death, terrorist beheadings, and one of my friends said the wrong things by accident, and I broke down and cried.

Then after that, I talked with one of my friends for a while, and by the end I was laughing again. So I had a pretty crazy day :P

I'm sorry to hear otherwise of your co-worker's botched pregnancy surgery.

Allow me to offer my words of support too.. before Shrekky jumps in with some comment about using the intestines as a golf club cover or something..

Best of luck to your coworker, I truly hope she and the baby make a full recovery.

Thanks to all of you guys, again.

May God give her permission to stay around us for a much longer time and be able to raise her kids.

Hopefully in the upcoming days I'll bring better news.

wow that's sad... hope she recovers... especially since everybody at your workplace likes her

Even if she was the most hated person, the wishes for her recovery should be just as equal (re: my signature). She's a person like all the rest of us. Nobody deserves to die or receive life-changing injuries.

She'll certainly be in my thoughts. Stay strong, Jingles.

Slight bit of good news...

Apparently she's feeling better. The recovery is still slow, though.

At times like this, it's certainly easier if you have a religion.

That's really horrible, Dan - I hope she gets better. For her baby's sake as well as hers.

You said she's doing a little better? That is wonderful - even if her recovery is slow, I am so glad to hear that she is at all better. I will keep her and her baby in my prayers - please continue to update us all with her condition!

Ja ne!
