Who saw the tribute act it's a kinda magic? I saw them in London on the sunday, ( missed the toronto show cause of family commentments) and thought that they were really good. Their version of Fat bottomed girls Rocked. I did think that the over use of the "backing tracks" did get a little anoying though. I also thought that the drummer was absoultley amazing!!! Great for being only 22 yrs old!!

What were your thoughts??

I saw them in Ottawa last Saturday. I agree about Fat Bottom Girls being the best performed song. I also really liked the fast version of We Will Rock You that they played at the end.

Had row 3 seats so I can't complain. Great show, was amazed at how good Craig's voice is. Probably the closest I'll ever hear to Freddie. I made a couple of short videoclips from the show and listened to them at home, and I am still shocked at how good he sounds.

Wasn't really impressed with the guitar player who did a bit too much improvising on the solos for my liking. Also, I don't know why he doesn't use the Vox AC30s instead of the Marshals. You would think a tribute band would try to come as close as possible to the original sound of the band.

The bassist and drummer were fine musicians, and were very friendly people as I got a chance to meet them after the show.

Overall, it was a great show and I'll definitely seem them again if they come back next year.

I also saw them in Ottawa this past Saturday and thought they were quite good. The lead singer was fantastic!

Fat Bottomed Girls was by far the highlight for me.

My only problem was the guitarist, he sounded nothing like Brian. At times it was like he was playing a different tune than the rest of the band. The solo in We Will Rock You (slow) was dreadful!

It was also a disappointment that the guitar solo's for Good Old Fashioned Loverboy and You're My Best Friend were done on keyboards.
