I know that this topic has been mentioned at least once on this board, but I just want to say what I need to say.

For those who are not aware (though I'm sure you all are), in the song "Dead On Time", featured on the Jazz album, a thunderbolt sound is heard during the song. No, it's not a glitch or anything. It was an actual thunderbolt recorded by Brian during a thunderstorm and added to the song, according to what I have heard. Therefore, Queen felt it was only right to credit God for the thunderbolt heard in that song.

It's cool that they had that effect, I've heard it before. It fits in the song very well, I must say. What do you think?

We can only grow the way the wind blows

On a bare and weathered shore

We can only bow to the here and now

In our elemental war

And here I thought I always had explosive flatulence whenever that song would conclude.

I always wondered why it would act up then.

No i don't think it fits the song. I think it's terrible. It ruins the whole album.

God should keep doing things like making people and making planets, and stop making music!!!

Hey, I think that it fits perfectly on the song. And the line 'Thunderbolt courtesy of God' seems funny to me. When I saw it on the record I found it funny :)

I have never agreed with you more, though I don't think the word 'recent' was necessary.

I also have to agree, but I think the words "I think" is not necessary.

Nah, I don't think it's too bad, atleast it's somewhat related to Queen..

Personally I both love the song and the quote :-)
