I was just thinking the other day, maybe it was impossible for Queen to tour in the 87-91 era, but maybe they've could have done something special. I've heard the Queen Symphony a time ago and I've heard Deep Purple & Metallica perform with orchestras, but I think this kind of collaboration would have suited Queen even more.

Imagine yourself that Queen would hit the stage at the Royal Albert Hall, together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Michael Kamen - may he rest in peace -), a full choir and the following setlist.

1. Procession & Chinese Torture (played by RPO only)
2. Death On Two Legs
3. My Fairy King
4. White Queen (As It Began)
5. The March Of The Black Queen
6. The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke
7. Nevermore
8. The Prophet's Song
9. Love Of My Life (album version)
10. '39
11. Somebody To Love
12. The Millionaire Waltz
13. Who Wants To Live Forever?
14. Bohemian Rhapsody
15. Was It All Worth It?
Encores
16. The Show Must Go On
17. Don't Stop Me Now
18. We Will Rock You
19. We Are The Champions
20. God Save The Queen (RPO only)

Yeah I know I'm a dreamer, but what the hell?!!??!?
What do you think?
Any better suggestions?

We may say you`re a dreamer, but you`re not the only one

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

you need to think these things through properly

a set list with the three queen II songs in the wrong order won't work
those songs naturally flow into each other....it's TFFMS/N/TMOTBQ

oh and something like this would make queen guilty of nicking Kiss' ideas

I put the three Queen II songs in the wrong order on purpose. There's no ending to March Of The Black Queen so I let it flow into The Fairy Feller's Master-Stroke and Nevermore.

And any suggestions for a nice medley (or other advice) are always welcome.

i'm noticing a huge concentration on the first 4 or 5 albums.....why not some other stuff....

The Show Must Go On
Under Pressure
...Bycycle Race could be quite interesting.

'think I would include You take my breath away in the setlist as well, because of the harmonies in the background in the track itself'

I know it's a fantastic song, but then the number of ballads would get to high I think..

'i'm noticing a huge concentration on the first 4 or 5 albums.....why not some other stuff....'

Because the later albums include songs that wouldn't really work in a classical set. But if you've got any suggestions please tell me. There are a few that will work (Who Wants To Live Forever?, Was It All Worth It? & The Show Must Go On) but the most wouldn't.
