I could not believe that I stumbled across an old video tape from around 1988 whilst I was having a clear out. It had a episode of Jim'll Fix It on it!!! For those of you outside the Uk, It was a TV series that ran for years where you wrote into legendary ex DJ, Sir Jimmy 'now then now then' Saville. If he answered your letter he could make your dreams come true.

Is there anybody on here that ever wrote to him?

So if you could write a letter to Sir Jim, what in 2004 would you wish for????

By the way, he aint God, so world peace doesnt come into it! Before it gets political!

Chom own mudder fukker.

Is Sir jimmy still alive? If so he must be ancient!

Sometimes i miss the 1980s - life seemed so uncomplicated back then and in many ways more enjoyable.

Yep, Sir Jimmy Slavas is still alive, and yes, I wrote to him. I told him that it was my dream to meet the muppets, but he didnt reply. It left me disillusioned with life in general.
However, since I've joined QZ my dream has at last come true.

I wrote to him to fix it for me to train with the GB olympic team. He didn't write back the bastard. Probably too busy embalming his mother.

Guess who's back?
