I was just wondering, if anyone would like to share some quotes of Freddie, or any other band member they have in some of the shows they have in their collection.
A couple I have include Freddie briefly getting booed at a show in Philadelphia in 82. I was lucky enough to have been there and also aquired a boot of this show some years back. Anyway, Freddie asked after the opener, "So how are you doing Filthydelphia?" It didn't go over well. ALso, Brian totally trashing the Horizon in Chicago, saying "In this age of acustic computer design, how they can design a place this bad I do not understand." That is from 9-18-80 in Chicago. Another one I have is from the Japan tours of 74-74 theres no year on the tape. It's titled Stunning. Anyway, after finishing Father to Son w/ the 3 part harmony a capella Freddie states, "Yes, we finally did that one together." referring to the timing and the intune voices. It is perfect. Thats all for now. I can't think of any others at the moment. I'd love to read a few more.

I love when Freddie's talking to the audience about his jewelry between songs, when he says, "These diamonds were a gift from the devil himself. What, you don't believe me?" And then he turns back to the band and says, "They don't believe me!"

My favourite is (from those I know which aren't many) from one of the Wembley shows, when Freddie pointed out that his skills on the guitar were rubbish (before CLTCL)

"I think everybody knows I can't play the fucking guitar, we all know that... difference being the guitar plays me, that would be more fun."
(or something like that)

Frankfurt ´82: I like it when Freddie announces some tracks of the "Hot Space"-album:
"You wanna hear it? You don´t wanna hear it? When you don´t wanna hear it .. Fuck it and go home!"

I can't remember just which show it was, but one bootleg in my collection features Freddie saying, in not so subtle a manner, that Brian has a really large c**k.... I couldn't believe it the first time I heard it, and still can't...I can only imagine Bri's reaction!
Or how about at Earl's Court, after '39, when Freddie says that he really enjoyed performing those acoustic numbers, so Brian was gonna have to go out and write more, because he can't... Little did he know that on the next tour, the new acoustic number would be one that he in fact wrote a few years earlier, Love of My Life....

have you ever learned how to use the English language properly?

you cannot put words in "quotes"
and then say "something to that extent, anyway"

I don't know, there are just so many of them, one that comes to mind is from the show in Stockholm 4-10-82, the song is "Save Me" and Freddie starts it normally, but Brian misses his cue.. so the whole thing was "It Started off so well...... It DIDN'T start off so Fucking Well.... " and then he says something after that but I can't see to understand it.. I had that as my Windows start up sound for years.

I always love his talking very very much!
My favorites are ones from "Earl's Court" as follows;
"I can do this all night, if you like" as he made one or two deep bows to the audience with a smile before he was starting out "Death On Two Legs"
"This is my champagne time. Cheers! I was gonna make a nice speech, but forget it. Cheers!"

I also love his banter about his diamonds on his fingers from "Rainbow" very much.

It was very fun when they took their last concert of '76 Japan tour on 4-4-76. The audience was sometimes so noisy that he said "Listen! Listen! Listen! Listen!" at last and then he said "Please Listen" in Japanese so clearly. Though it was not "banter"...
I have its bootleg and I love it!

It's nice to here when freddie says in stockholm 86: as you all now, this is the start of our new american, no european tour.

It's olso great to hear that freddie speaks about that they aren't on there last tour in birmingham 840902 (as the newspapers says), and on the magictour he says that quenn will not split up. He has maybe looked into the future.

But the best must be as allready stated: Hello ladies and gentlemen and everybody else.

I don't want to stray from subject too much, but to save a new thread:
In HamOdeon'75, just before 7SoR, Brian says
"We're on our own now", Freddie agrees with "Right."
I always found it amusing, but
?What does that mean?

Hi, newbie here!

I like very much this one from a show in Birmingham, 1973 when they were supporting Mott The Hoople.

Freddie says:
"Good evening, We're called Queen. It's so nice to be here in Birmingham"

They were perfect strangers to audiences yet. They had to introduce themselves. Who could ever tell what will come next?

Oakland 1978, just before Love of my Life:

"This song is turning into a duet, Roger and John have gone backstage to get their blowjobs as usual, but we get them after the show."

I love it :-)!

There are far too many to list.

But one of my favourites is from Montreal 78, before Fat Bottomed Girls:

"This next song is dedicated to all you girls with great big tits and asses... and all you fellas with great big tits and asses."
