Was nice to see Pino Palladino on stage with Bri and Rog at the HOF, great session musician and 100% better than that bloody Steve Barnacle. If John never comes out of the woodwork again then Id love to see Pino do some stuff with Bri and Rog in the future, this guy knows everything and everyone and is VERY well respected - good choice.

I totally agree.
And if I'm correct he also played bass on Freddie solo album "Barcelona".

The fact the Pino played on Barcelona is news to me. Where do you have this particular info from ?

He did play a couple of tracks on one of those "orchestra plays Queen"-albums though.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see Pino play with the guys as well.

Sorry,my mistake.I checked in the special thanks for the album "Barcelona" and it was "PINO SAGLIOCCO for all help and enthusiasm",not Pino Palladino.Forgive me,wrong Pino! :-)

He plays at every big event, he was at the Palace concert, was funny seeing him play paranoid cos he looks so out of place.

Pino Palladino.......

Christ, if ever there was a bassist that adds absolutely NOTHING to the dynamic of a band it is him. As a long-time Who fan, I was shocked and appauled that Pete & Roger invited him to join them after John Entwistle died. Throughout their last two tours (2002 & 2004), Palladino was completely buried in the mix - and the only time he was ever called upon to actually do something (notably on the My Generation solo), he completly buggered it up.

Then fast forward to HOF'04 and the bass solo on All Right Now, and again, he buggered it up. Even Neil Murray might have been a better choice....... They'd have been better served trying to get Andy Fraser (Free) to come out of the woodwork or getting Lennox Lewis to try to play - would have had the same effect.
