For those of you around 30 or under, was there ever a Queen song in the charts when you were born or a song actually released on your birthdate??

Spread Your Wings was released on the 10th Feb 78, 3 days after I was born, thats the closest I get.

Nope, when I was born (2 August 1983) they started to work on their next album, The Works. In February 1984 they released it.

I was born on January 2nd, 1986.

Does anybody know what was released around then?

One Vision? A Kind Of Magic (album / song?)

?

Queen are the best band, and they're still underrated!

One Vision was released as a single in the UK on my 10th birthday. The only problem was: I live in the USA and wasn't into Queen yet...but in hindsight, it's a rather cool co-incidence...

No. But I did learn from "Champions of the World", that "Mother Love" was recorded or part-recorded the day before my birthday, 22nd May 1991.

Yes, it's me. I'm back.

The band waited to form Queen right untill I was born.

Quote pasted from Mercuryparadise.com :

Even with Freddie as their frontman, though, Ibex were little more than an amateur outfit, managing to secure just three gigs in the summer of 1969. Freddie then changed their name to Wreckage, and another handful of inauspicious live shows followed. By the end of the year, it was all over, leaving Freddie to team up with another heavy blues band, the Surrey-based Sour Milk Sea. He set about moulding them to his ideal, too, but that engagement lasted only a matter of weeks. In April 1970, Freddie achieved the ambition which had been driving him for more than a year, when he joined Brian May and Roger Taylor in Smile. He changed thier name, too - to Queen.

I was born on 27th of March 1970...

Well, I'm sure Freddie had a hangover on several of my birthdays... Sept 8 (3 days after his). I think that they may have been finishing up ANATO when I was born in 1975.

I have no idea. I was born on January 31 1985, so I doubt it. But if anyone knows where I can find out let me know!

Silly me... This year We Will Rock You premiered in Las Vegas on my Birthday. Also, the mayor of Las Vegas declared it "Queen Day". (Does that count?)

Bohemian Rhapsody was scaling upward towards the American Top 10 when I was born on January 24, 1976. A Night at the Opera was heading to its peak of #4 when I was born. The 1970s bands all rocked. Pink Floyd, Queen, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rush, Supertramp, Styx, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Bad Company, The Cars, Alice Cooper, ELP, Yes, Genesis, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Judas Priest, Kansas, KISS, Steve Miller, Ted Nugent, Van Halen and many other acts. Many of those acts were at their peak or heading that way when I was either a newborn or a toddler! Music since then has been all about style except for these following bands. U2, Iron Maiden, The Darkness, Audioslave, Queensryche, Slayer, Megadeth(1985-90), Metallica(up to 1991). Radiohead are too whiny and puts me to sleep and Coldplay are eh.
