I've never been particularly fond of trumpets - mainly because of the people who play them - but I stumbled across Telemann's Trumpet Concerto in D major this morning, and I have to say, I have quite fallen in love with it. The strings with trumpet are gorgeous, and I really warmed to the particular sound of the trumpet in the concerto.

Would anyone have any other pieces for trumpet they would recommend?

fall in love? in one day?
life will be one big disappointment after another if you allow yourself to fall in love so easily....hold back a little - or you will suffer a broken heart

Oh dear, I do feel quite foolish. Normally I'm the one asking my friends to keep from being so careless with their words...

But then again, it does sound rather stupid to say I've become besotted with a piece...

In any case, denki for the suggestions!
