Apparently this game has upset the Kennedy family, but what I would like to know is what the American people on this board (or anybody else for that matter) thinks about it. The game makers have offered a cash prize to anyone who can accurately reproduce the "magic bullet" moment from Lee Harvey Oswald.

I happen to think that this "game" will grow more popular due to its controversial nature. It will be interesting to hear what other people think - not just Americans - regarding this.

I also heard on the news that this game has educational benefits. This I seriously doubt.

I think it's horrible. I can't believe someone would be so cruel and disrespectful to a wonderful man and his tragic death. I think everyone should boycott that game. Someone has to have a sick mind to call that "fun."

I am DISGUSTED.

Apparently its supposed to prove that Oswold was a lone gunman...

Not quite sure what to make of it actually! Normally I'm interested in stuff about this, The Men Who Killed Kennedy series was very good...

Because it would not nearly be controversial enough.

Recently I watched a very good documentary of The Discovery Channel about all the physical theories prooving the existance of that "magic bullet" as well, as the possibility of a second gunman who might have fired a forth shot.

The hired a team of professionals on ballistics and forensics, as well as 3D animators who helped recreate the events.

There's been quite some good documentaries on The History Channel about the JFK assasination.

The one I saw on The Discovery Channel never talked about the countless number conspiracy theories behind whether Oswald acted alone or who hired him.
It was basically about the physical fact behind the assasination.

I think this shows how JFK is more of a commodity than a person. If his death had not been filmed, people would be more respectful. But for some reason, the fact that we can watch him murdered over and over again enures us.

Back and to the left. Back and to the left. Back and to the left.

Everything plays a significant role on making JFK's probably the most controversial assasination in history.

The fact that his death was filmed is one, but most of all because of the whole mystery behind what was behind the assasination of the most powerful man on earth.
Over 40 years after his death nobody still knows 100% for sure whether Oswald killed him or not, and if he did, did he act alone, whether he killed JFK for his own convictions or was hired by someone for the job. There's a thousand questions to be asked, and the fact that the government itself has kept hidden a lot of information about the incident has brought nothing but motivation from conspiracy theorists to make their own investigations, and bring their own conclusions.

(spoiler warning!!!!!!!)

Lister discovers the curry supplies have been destroyed. They go back in time to visit a take away but end up in November 1963, where he accidentally pushes a gunman out of a fifth floor window.

JFK survives - but later on in his presidency is forced to resign as a result of scandals. The turmoil shakes up America - laws are passed and to cut a long story short American history is changed.

The only way to alter history is to make sure JFK is assassinated on 22 Nov.

They convince the disgraced JFK of 1966 to become the grassy knoll shooter - thus ensuring his own legacy and America's survival.

I can hardly wait to play it, having visited Dealey Plaza two years ago.

Waiting with baited breath for the sequels. Oh, to try and succeed where Hinkley failed with Reagan, Fromn with Ford, and then to see if I can be as good as those who assassinated Lincoln, Arthur, and McKinley.

Or, will John Lennon be the next feature. I've always fantasized about being Mark David Chapman.

Great stuff indeed.

Love the JFK optional 'real blood' feature. Hope all the sequels have this.

One question: who are the sick f*cks that dream this stuff up, anyway? And why stop with dead presidents? Wonder when they'll create a Bush or Blair target game.

sick sick sick

Yeah, good theory that by the Dwarfers! :-)

There was one show in the series The Men Who Killed Kennedy about the gunman on the Grassy Knol, and you have to admit that someone was there. Whether they fired the shot that killed him is debatable... Theres even talk of a third gunman!...

But its interesting why they picked on Oswald and didn't follow up any other leads. And also the way they tried to hide up his past and also the altopsy... Then theres the Jack Ruby thing too!

There was also a programme on ITV I think which reckoned that Oswald did fire the shot, and it also dispelled the "Back, and to the left" theory put forward by Stone.

Interesting stuff, I guess we'll never get to the bottom of it...

It's pretty idiotic to compare shooting with a real rifle to shooting an animated object on a video screen using a mouse. How is this supposed to be recreating the assassination????

The game is just a way to make a few bucks... that's why I tell everyone to download the cracked version of the game and play it for free. I DO enjoy shooting the police officers though ;)

DON'T BUY IT!!!! YOU CAN GET IT FOR FREE!!!!!!!
