Well, Queen got snubbed again from the top 10 (last year, Bo Rhap was 13), so here's how Queen placed. The listeners voted... and you shouldn't be surprised to know what number 1 is:

19 :: Bohemian Rhapsody
107 :: Fat Bottom Girls
121 :: Somebody To Love
168 :: Under Pressure
186 :: We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions
292 :: Killer Queen
378 :: You’re My Best Friend
445 :: Another One Bites The Dust
652 :: Crazy Little Thing Called Love
830 :: Tie Your Mother Down
979 :: It's Late

Sooo that's it for Queen.

This one kills me!:

I'm gonna smoke me the highest quality refer (Pot), pop a tab of acid and try to relate to what these voters listen to, because some of these songs are beyond comprehension. I could understand the Beatles and maybe Sairway to Heaven as # 4 or 5 but Born To Run? That song is more bland than Poi! I live in New York and I never get use to these Polls.

Speaking of Peter Cetera, I REALLY have a strong dislike for Chicago. I'm sorry.

WHY is Stairway always number one? I want like an honest answer. Why does it always claim the spot as the greatest rock and roll song ever?

because led zep never recorded singles - so it gives it a myth-like property of belonging and not belonging to the mainstream at the same time

depends on the chart: in Europe, BoRhap is always number one.

Must say that I like most of the top songs. Don't understand the choices of the Queen-songs, though. I mean, Fat bottomed girls. Why?

Yeah, I love stairway to heaven, but lets be serious, Bohemian Rhapsody is THE song, the SONG of SONGS. You can't top it, EVER.

some fanatical queen fan must have voted for "it's Late" like a hundred times to get that song voted in.

Considering that it's an American list, Queen didn't do so bad.

Q 104.3 is very Queen friendly, and they play more Queen than than the average American classic rock station.
Keep in mind that most classic rock station in America play Led Zepppelin, The Stones, Pink Floyd, and The Who like there was nothing else worth listening to.

Stairway To Heaven is undeniably a superb song, OK arguably it might not be the best song of all time but it's indeed one of the best songs and deserves a top 10 or top 20 on every best song ever list.

Compared to Rolling Stone mag, Q 104.3 made a great list. Bob Dylan's 'Like A Rolling Stone' might have great lyrics, but musically the song is a piece of shit. I wouldn't even consider putting it, or any other Bob Dylan song on the Top 1000.

Bob Dylan should have definitely stuck to poetry, because even William Hung sings better than he does.

I agree about Q104. I'm not a fan of radio stations in general because they tend to overplay songs to death, but Q104 is definitely top-notch in comparison. Especially when it comes to playing Queen.

My favorite DJ is Ian O'Malley. The majority of times that I've heard non-playlist Queen songs on that station, it has been during his shift. One time he put on the Live at Wembley CD and just let it run for a few songs because he was enjoying it so much. Told everyone to go out and buy the DVD too.

the new jersey station 105.5 is much better, you have a better chance of hearing a rare queen song than on 104.3. 104.3 usually sticks with top 40's and for that i rarly listen to them.

Hmmm.... thay is interesting, and of course Queen deserves higher! At least they did better than in Rolling Stone's 500 greatest songs. That was simply an outrage!
