I think that goes without question. Theyre English, lol. I should imagine 4 or 5 dates.

Yeah, theyll do the point in Dublin i bet. Its a good venue.

I was going to say i was worried about UK dates. I will only be able to make it to Manchester or Newcastle. Londons just too expensive for me right now, even if its to see queen!

Dissapointing- some on lads, five venues abroad confirmed, where are the English confirmations? This is where you are from for Gods sake, put us first for once!
I only hope its taking ages to decide because they want to do loads of places in the UK!

The following are likely to be definate venues:

London (Wembley Arena or Docklands Arena)
Birmingham (NEC)
Manchester (MEN Arena)
Glasgow (SECC)
Cardiff (Arena or National Stadium)
Dublin (The Point)
Knebworth Park - they need to capitalise in the success of the 3 Robbie Williams shows from 2003.

Anything else, logistically, is highly unlikely. It's a shame really that they are doing it all this year - I'd have thought it more worthwhile tio be the first act to play at Wembley Stadium when it re-opens, but they will now likely be passed over.

The following are possibilities and far less likely:
Newcastle (Arena)
Sheffield (Arena)
Milton Keynes Bowl - already being used again by Oasis I believe.
Hammersmith Apollo - you'd like to think that they might throw in a couple of tiny club dates a-la The Who or Stones for variety.

Try the Astoria Tottenham court road for the first show. It was measured up for a mini set in December and its opposite the wwry show in London (the mothership)

queen + paul rogers couldn't fill a stadium anymore

it'd be nice to see them in smaller places. one of the best things about rogers tours were that you were almost on top of the band!

I read in "Record Collector" that Wembley Arena is closed until 2006 for refurbishment in line with the new stadium. Maybe the Millenium Dome will be used as I'd heard that it was being converted into a concert venue and McCartney used it for rehearsals last year. The RAH is another venue to consider and BM played there in 1993.
I would assume that outside London the usual arenas will be played.
As for Ireland, I would hope that the Odyesey in Belfast (10,000 capacity) will get a show but somehow doubt it, Dublin, as someone else pointed out, has the Point or RDS arena.
In another week we'll know for sure...

Surprised??? They could never fill Knebworth! If they did play there then it would be pathetic. Theyd need someone bigger than them supporting to sell the tickets!

I totally agree. He would sell it out, but hes currently the "Flavour of the Month" in the Uk. But he would sell Knebworth out if Queen were backing him and thier name wasnt on the tickets.
