I have the MIH home video where something is said about Freddie's last interview.
It also features some lines fromm Freddie sayin' something like "this is goin to be my best interview etc etc...".
The reality is that we never really knew what he did say in that interview!!!Does anyone know something about it?Whe was it done???

I'd also like to know what his last interview was. Must have been connected to The Miracle.

This is a quote from his last interview. It was in 1991.

"I don't really think about when I'm dead or how they are going to remember me. I don't really think about it. It's up to them. When I'm dead, who cares? I don't."

also

" Everybody wants to be successful. I never ever thought that I was going to make a career of it, but suddenly I realised that this was the best thing I could do."

You can find it on the Champions of the World video (also at the Magic Years video??).

It's not from his interview at 1991, just because he didn't gave them at that time! How Magic Years could contain Freddie's interview from 1991 if the video was released at 1987?!?!

It's snpippets from Freddie's interviews from 80s.

Yeah it was on champions of the world...but the point is: why did they say it was his last interview while it is never been released?

So, which interview is it where Fred says "This is going to be the last interview!"

Maybe he is just referring to the last interview at a press conference and not the VERY last interview per se.

Fred meant last interview at that day, because he gave some of them. It was in Munich, 1984.

I think that the interview was planned to be added at the Magic Years 4 video, but then they decided to release only the "Champions of the World" video (1995).

Maybe... But anyway there's no Freddie's interviews from 1991, as I know.

I do have the boxed set and listened to those interviews only once. Quite a cheap quality for an official CD. How come they can make Freddie sing "locality" alright at Milton Keynes but are unable to get rid of all those noise in the interviews?

The so called last interview on "Champions of the World"is just a compilation from various interviews from the 80s.

It starts with : "You are the last person I talk to, so you probably get the best interview, darling" or something like that. You can all WATCH this interview on disc 2 of GVH 2. It was done in Munich 1984 in the Musicland Studios and Rudi Dolezal (the interviewer) was the last person (interviewer) on that day.

There is no "last interview"

I do not want any google ads here.

He answered that, Joe. Read the replies above.

"I think that the interview was planned to be added at the Magic Years 4 video, but then they decided to release only the "Champions of the World" video (1995)."

There is no "last interview"

that`s it
there are some stupid virtual book around written by a woman called "A Kind Of Magic" or something like that, where she says the book has Freddie last interview...that`s bullshit
This "last interview" was from 1984, Munich..well, "Your Valentine" has already explained that, so I will not repeat it
Freddie didnt gave interviews in 1991, he hated interviews (but sometimes he said that he had to do it, because it was part of his job), so, if he hated interviews (when he was sane), just imagine what he did it in late 1991, when he was too ill...he didnt gave intreviews!!!

so it would seem that the godawful Mike Read of Radio 1 bagged Freddie's last ever interview without knowing it at the time. Unless there were other print interviews for The Miracle? I don't think there were for Innuendo - Q magazine interviewed the other three for a cover feature in early 1991, but Fred was absent, which I thougth was a telling sign at the time....

I don't know if it counts, but there is a snippet of Freddie behind the scenes of the Slightly Mad video shoot.

He says something like "Once we get it, we'll just do whatever we want"

Is it possible that there's an on-the-set mini-interview there?

I doubt. He didn't give interview even during Breakthru sessions while Brian, Roger and John did it.
