How come Roy Thomas Baker is back as producer on Jazz and then they never hired him again? Just a curiosity...

They weren't happy with News Of The World album that's why he was back. And later they found Mack - and now you need to buy Queen On Fire DVD and watch Disk 2 to realize how much happy they were with this German guy!

Wasn't Mike Stone listed as co-producer (I know he was a sound engineer)on NOTW and ADATR...is there any suggestion he made to the guys? How much was he involved in the creative process?

Or am I asking too much?

No, you're not.

Mike wasn't producer of ADATR, he was an engineer and sung additional vocal on GOFLB.

And for NOTW - he assisted to produce album and engineered.

Besides he was engineer for Queen II, SHA, NATO albums.
