Be Gentle, I'm a newbie: 2 posts

Hi this has been nagging me for years but I really want to get a hold of the performance of Queen doing Somebody To Love from the mid 80's where Freddie is wearing the white pants with the orange/red stripe down the side and has short hair. They show this video clip in documentaries about Queen everytime I see one and I want the whole performance of this song. It's the best version of the song I've ever heard. For a long time, I was under the impression that it was from Live Aid but cannot find the song listed as being performed at Live Aid. I also have the Live Aid set and the song is not there either. Can someone please tell me where this performance is from? I can't stand not having this any longer. I need this performance in whole! Please reply to this thread

the "pants" you describe sound like those he worse on the works and magic tours works ones were leotard-like like a zig-zag stripe whereas the magic ones were more like trousers with a military (red) stripe right down the side

It seems you could be talking about the Milton Keynes 82 version, which has been officially released now. Check out the Live At The Bowl DVD - you won't be disappointed!
