Hi,

Have been reading this site for ages but only just joined as an active member, so please be kind?
I've been a Queen Fan for over 1/2 my life now. Good years but, where the hell has the time gone?

Anyway to get to my point......

Has anyone out there got tickets for the Prague Concert at the Saska Arena yet? If so where did you get them from? I booked flight to Prague today for that weekend but can't find anywhere to buy a ticket for the show. Spent ages trying to search the web. Any pointers would be great. If they are not available yet I guess I will have to wait until they give a few more details on www.queenonline.com, but was hoping to beat the rush.

Already managed to get tickets for Cardiff, Birmingham and Wembley from the QFC phone line. But fancied going to one a bit further afield.

I'll take a look. Thanks. I did think about sending and email to him from his site, but thought I would try here.

Thanks

Yes, the concert is still not 100% officially confirmed and the tickets are not on sale yet. I'm getting pissed off...

However, even if the concert takes place, I'm not sure if they will ship the tickets abroad :-(

Thanks for the info.

I guess I will have to wait a little longer to find out. If I can't get tickets at least I can have a few days looking around Prague. I wanted to pay a visit for ages anyway.

I'm sure you'll love Prague. As long as you avoid taking a cab :-)

Tickets on sale from 27th - at least that's what Thomas Zeidler's site says.

I make a mental note to myself, Prague Good, Taxi Bad. :-)

Is there a reason why they may not send tickets outside of the country. Is this common? Do you think they would give the option of picking them up at the arena on the day? Have you been to any concerts at the arena before?

It's not common to sell ticket only in Czech, it's Sazka arena system only. They use online terminals, which are located all over Czech republic (they are on every post office and not only there). There isn't any information how to buy tickets from abroad on their pages.

Well, I never been there on any concert (it's rather new venue) so I cannot say anything about sound etc. I've heard it'd have got good acoustic, but really can't say for sure.

EDIT:
Some tickets should be set for sale right before concert, but don't expect too much.

BTW, as Martin said, Prague is really worth to see. Prague cabs are the big shame, but if you know it, it could help a little :-)

Yes, I've been in the Arena before - it's a beautiful hall (not sure about the acoustic conditions though).

It depends on where they'll be selling tickets. Maybe some other Czech ticket agencies will offer them too, then there's a chance they will ship abroad. Don't worry, if I find out any info, I will immediately post it in this forum.

I'm quite sure the concert will be sold out quickly so I very much doubt there will be any tickets left on sale on the day of the concert.
