Just woundering if Freddie's Great Pretender and Living on My Own and Brian's Driven By You videos are going to be on the Greatest Hits III DVD? And Elton John's take on Show Must Go On and George Michael's take on Somebody To Love? If the VHS relase did, the DVD must do musn't it?

the UP Rah mix was an official Queen hit single with Fred and Bowie, both seen in a video for the song so OF COURSE it will be on there. probably the lead track

I actually quite enjoy the Rah mix. I for one hope it IS on the DVD.

From the viewpoint of someone who didn't get a chance to hear any of their solo stuff before buying GH3 (Other than Brian's "Another World" and chunks of "Barcelona"), I think it was a good thing that they put a few solo songs on it. I mean, To this day I STILL don't actually OWN a copy of "Back To The Light", as it is out of print here. I may have NEVER gotten to hear "Driven By You".

Under Pressure from 1981 was a hit single, but not the Rah Mix - so it doesn´t deserve a place on a greatest video hits dvd (the original hit song is already on GVH 2). Come on, its also not a new song, its just a shitty remix.

Greatest VIDEO Hits - the video to the Rah mix was special - despite its flaws. I seem to be of the few who both liked the remix and the video!

me as well.

with regards the GVH3 dvd release....

I don't see how QP are going to be able to complete the product based on releases from 1990 onwards.....

Disc 1 would be Innuendo singles videos, MIH singles Doro videos, No-One But You & Queen Rocks promo videos (Put Out The Fire, I'm In Love With My Car etc.)& Seven Seas Of Rhye BBC taping.

Disc 2 chuck in some odds and sods, making of the Innuendo videos etc.

I think the RahMix is great
and the video - even better.
All GVH3 needs are the core Innuendo+NOBY vids and I'll buy it.
I'm not gonna start complaining if they put 'too much' on it, though. That's rediculous.
For those who want to pay more for less, more power to ya!

I think the songs on the Greatest Hits III DVD (as I was originally trying to say at the start of this topic) shouls be

DISC ONE
Innuendo - Queen
Theses Are The Days Of Our Lives - Queen
Living On My Own - Freddie Mercury
Headlong - Queen
I'm Going Slightly Mad - Queen
Under Pressure (RAH Mix) - Queen & David Bowie
Driven By You - Brian May
The Great Pretender - Freddie Mercury
Somebody To Love - George Michael & Queen
The Show Must Go On - Queen
Bohemian Rhapsody (Wayne's World version) - Queen
The Show Must Go On - Elton John & Queen
No-One But You (Only The Good Die Young) - Queen
Let Me Live - Queen
Heaven For Everyone - Queen
Too Much Love Will Kill You - Queen
Barcelona - Freddie Mercury & Monserrat Caballe

DISC TWO
Too Much Love Will Kill You - Brian May's version
Heaven For Everyone - The Cross' version
Freddie's Loves documentary
Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story documentary
Queen Legends documentary
The Story of Bohemian Rhapsody docmentary
News Reports on Freddie's deaths

That was what I what I was originally trying to say. Should it be something like that?

as for filling up the dvd with stuff i distincly remember doro in the studios when they were recording the miracle so i won't be suprised if there was footage of miracle and innuendo sessions included at some point if not now then in the future.

By the way the info on doro filming was in a 1988 christmas issue fan club mag and it clearly states doro in the studio recording the band(obviously successful after the making of one vision).

Yes we'll keep on tryin

That'd total roughly 5 hours and 30 minutes. I doubt that'd fit on one DVD.

Well, we can put a couple of documentaries on a third disc. We can have a third disc can we?

The only question that remains: What to do with "Show Must Go On" with Elton John. It was neither a single-release nor a chart-hit, but Elton sang it often during the 90s in concert. I would it put up there, although the original song is already up there on the GVH3.

Yes, but take a look at some of the CD singles that are released. There's a half a dozen versions of the same song.
It would not be a stretch at all to put both version of the video in the collection, especially with how easy it would be to call one an "extra".

I think another question is - will they put the other version of S2L with George and the ORIGINAL guitar solo like on the VHS??

I would expect most if not all things from "Greatest Flix III" to be on "Greatest Video Hits III". Including the solo videos.
