John Myung is the best bass player ever. John Deacon and all the other guys mentioned here have played in famous bands but actually they are 10 levels below John Myung.

Oh YEAH.. I used to have one of his Bass guitars.. well not HIS, but one that was like his, with the scalloped fret board and all.. he was good.. If you ever wondered what happened to him..

Well, i'm a drummer (but i'm the WORST, not the best hahahaha)
Anyway, have you heard of a guy called Clem Burke? He's from Blondie, but he was on tour with Eurythmics on 86/87..... I have one Eurythmics concert and i'll tell you... that guy rocks!

I am a great Queen fan, so I am sorry to say this. John Deacon had a few good basslines, most of the time on record. But live he was really a bad bass player. Look at : play the game, somebody to love, we are the champions (on the WWRY dvd) or We will rock you fast, Action this day (On Fire dvd), that's much too simple for such an famous bass player. At Wembley he was much better, I have to say that, but most of the live concerts he was nog good enough I think.

Roger Taylor, John Bonham and Phil Collins are the best rock drummers.
