I've been listening to I'm In Love With My Car recently and that song really sound like it was sung by Rod Stewart. Anyone agree?

I was listening to it a few months ago and i thought "Oh my god this was recorded for ANATO when roger was still very pretty looking!" And i was looking at a rather lovely picture of Roger and listening to the song at the same time and i found it very hard to believe that that voice was coming out of that pretty face. Has anyone else thought that?

I love Roger's voice. I thought of it as sexy. Not frightening.

Yes, many times. You would expect a totally different voice coming from that guy. But I'm glad he's got THIS voice! ;-)

I like both-they're so different. Roger has a powerful driving gutsy masculane voice while Brian's is much more soft, quiet, angelic! :P lol...both of thir voices can be extremely emotional. I love them both!! In fact, dare I say,I almost love their voices as much as Freddies!! Those Fred's was much much better, obviously!!

I agree that Roger's voice is more aggressive and he can hammer home rock and powerful tracks (i.e. WWRY, Show Must Go On etc.) whereas Brian is more quiet and is more suited to ballads (Save Me, Forever etc.) I don't know about angelic, though !

I meant Rod of course, but It's Paul Rodgers all over this board... So I made a mistake.

Roger sounds way better than Rod Stewart tho. No offence to Rod. But a man that can shriek is very very sexy. And man, can Roger shriek.

Sweet Jesus... I suppose we also can get Roger Taylor from Duran Duran involved this fracas?!?

(Does anyone know whether Elizabeth Taylor's middle name is May?)

Roger's got an extremely high voice in the early years. In My Fairy King and In The Lap Of The Gods you can hear his high voice very well, so cleverly done, beautiful. But he also has got a very strong voice, like in Tenement Funster and More Of That Jazz.
