As we know, Innuendo is about hints. In the light of what we know now, there are obvious ones on the Innuendo album - The Show Must Go On, Innuendo, I'm Going Slightly Mad, These Are the Days of Our Lives.

But is there a hint in every song on the album? What about Headlong, Hitman, Bijou, etc? What are the innuendos there? Any comments are welcome :)

If you want to find innuendos - you'll find them even in instrumental tracks! Depends on your state of mind.

Headlong - "there`s nothing you can do about it" and similar lines

Bijou - "the rest of our days with each other..."

Hitman - "ain`t no escaping"

Don`t Try So Hard - "don`t try so hard"

Show - "the show must go on"

I Can`T Live With You - "I just can`t live, just can`t live"

Delilah - "you make me so very happy"

TATDOOL - "I`d like to go back..."

Innuendo - "don`t take offence at my innuendo"

RTWW - "it aint dangerous"

All God`s People - "touch and feel"

Slightly Mad - "I think I`m a banana tree"

They all suggest something. Not neccesarily something important. Especially innuendo is suggested to be an innuendo, and that`s reflexed in the exhuberant orchestration, the musical contrasts, and especially in the fact that the song`s title is innuendo.

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Well it was called "Innuendo" for a reason, but good insight. Cheers!

if you get too deep into this you can find things in every song, like someone said.....its like people reading various things into the predictions of Nostradamus....if you want to see something in it you will......not that I am above a little irresponsible speculation myself!!!!

Thats right - if somebody wants to find innuendos - one can always find them. Especially if your mind is focused on finding them.

For example, songs like Headlong and I Can't Live With You are fun songs, at least musically they are, but yeah, you can find innuendos in lines like "nothing you can do about it" and "i just can't live, just can't live".
