We all of us deeply apologise for this god forsaken shit heap of a building...but we will make it rock.

Ahh.. here we go again. For queen its quite clear , but still a little garbled. Remember, if the lyrics werent there in front of you , telling you what youre supposed to hear , you wouldnt here anything! I can imagine some idiot sitting around for hours listening to songs trying to find something he can pass off as a backward message. And like Britney spears has to beg guys to sleep with her...

For me it was a bit difficult to tell wether or not Freddie sang " it´s fun..." or " it´s hard...", but that´s just me. I knew about the stairway to heaven bit but I didn´t know it was that long, I had previously only heard the first sentence. But anyway... I think it´s quite fun to know something like existed but still, to spend time trying to fihure those out (huh?). Great site though.

When I stumbled across this 'hidden message' ten years ago, it was supposed to say "Decide to smoke marihuanna." And since, I hear THAT, and no 'fun' at all. But then again, I cannot be arsed to listen to songs backwards.

Just record them in some sound editor and reverse the part you select. I've just put some examples of this on my site. It's not that important, but I selected some parts that came to mind, that are played backwards in the original songs, and reversed them so they are played "normal". In Ogre Battle you'll hear that the beginning is the end of the song. Further: headlong (they sing headlong backwards), Teo Torriatte (almost the same when played backwards), Ride The Wild Wind (In my view the first sounds are originally played backwards?) and the backwards part in Ouverture Piccante on the Barcelona album. I had to kill some time, so there you have it. see download, mp3 on http://www.mercuryparadise.com

Its just utter rubbish! I remember being in religion class my jr. year. the teacher had a tape of alot of these minus Eminem & that skanky ho, I mean Britney. I got verbally pissed off and discredited the entire thing. I was insulted that the teacher felt he could push this on us like we were mindless drones.

I agree; simply rubbish. It is a good song, and if there is something backwards, great. My subconscious brain needs something to do, anyway!

I think it's interesting that Freddie in Another One sounds fairly similar to the forward version. Everyone else (myself included) seem to sound very different. Plus, Another One doesn't sound bad backwards. Yaw rehtie ti yojne dlouc I.
