I had my wisdom teeth cut out at age 29. The dentist told me that on a scale of 1 to 10, mine were a 20!!!

Took a good, solid two weeks before I could really eat proper food.

Going to the dentist is extremely important. Everyone should go twice a year. You'll regret it later in life if you don't.

I had so much trouble with one tooth 3 years ago...I was in pain for about 2 months or so...and during that time I went to the dentist at least once a week, in the end I had to go every day.
It went so far that I litterally ASKED my dentist to finally pull it out!

And now I'm not afraid of dentists anymore. I even like to go there because my dentist still seems to feel bad about what happened and he gives me discount on everything! And he's the nicest guy ever!
I had a little tooth surgery a month ago and he even called me in the evening to ask how I was doing. I like my dentist!!

Though I find it unpleasant, I'm not frightened to go to the dentist at all.

I don't like when they scrape your teeth with the sharp pointy thingies.

My main problem with the dentist is aftetr examining my mouth and finding nothing wrong he still charges me hideous amounts of money! I'm a poor student and I still don't get any discount. And he always makes me bleed when he scrapes the outside of my teeth.

At school the bitch of a dental nurse "don't be so silly, it doesn't hurt" was needing to give me a filling, so after ignoring my "please be gentle, I have a fear of needles" cries, she rams the needle into my hard palate, tells me off for squealing, and then says "oops sorry dear, that was the wrong place. I'll have to give you another one."

After that I wouldn't let her anywhere near my teeth and insisted on going to my mum's dentist.
