What is it with all these wristbands? Everyone has got one especially footballers. I know Lance Armstrong started it off with his Livestrong campaign but its being saturated. In Preston today all the sports shops had hand-written signs saying 'No Wristbands, sold out'.

I have one but only because my brother bought me a white Tsunami one with PNE Loud and Proud on it. Now don't get me wrong Preston donate half of the profits to the relief effort in South East Asia but isn't a bit disturbing cashing in on such a tragedy. I must be getting old I'm ranting like Brian May now.

With the amount of wristbands being issued, people will end up with 5 on a wrist, cut off the blood supply to their hand and have to have the hand amputated ..... for which, a green wristband will be issued to highlight their plight.
