I was just wondering why Queen have never toured to Australia. If they have, please tell me. I was so happy when i heard that they were touring but then i found out that they weren't coming out here to Australia. Whats up with that.

Queen have toured here. In 1985 on The Works Tour
and in 1976 or 1977 on the Day At The Races Tour and I think they played in Melbourne at the Sunbury Festival in some time in 1974 or 1975. If theres any other times I don't know.

They did come to Brisbane, they played at Festival Hall in '85 i think. Quite cool because i've been to Festival Hall before they knocked it down or whatever they did to it.

I can't believe they had bad experiences here most celebrities say Aussies are great.

Yeah, they copped some flack..the MC callin' 'em 'Pommy bastards' or what not. But I'm pretty sure we lost the Ashes both years they came here so they deserved what they got...just kiddin'.

I was suprised to see that Queen actually played in Perth. Woo! Must get some material on it from the state library.
