Queen finest moments; A Night At The Opera and Day At The Races, The Magic Tour, The Miracle, Innuendo

Worst moments; hmm .. can't think of something that makes sense (of course Fred's illness, but can it be more obious than that? :P) .. hmm well, there're some songs I really hate, but these are only 1 or 2 songs at one entire album, so that can't be the WORST moment ..

Totally agree

All of Brian May's solos are goddamn awful. They're just about as bad as Freddie Mercury hitting high notes on Queen songs.

Both Brian's Red Special and Freddie's voice sound like utter shit. I'd rather hear Ashlee Simpson singing with that kid from Hanson on the guitar.

Best - Another One Bites The Dust, Bo Rhap, We Will Rock You, Under Pressure, Innuendo, White Queen, Hammer To Fall, Stone Cold Crazy, Who Wants To Live Forever, Rainbow 20/11/1974, Milton Keynes 05/06/1982 & Copenhagen 1978.

Worst - Party, Khashoggi's Ship, My Baby Does Me, Rain Must Fall, Invisible Man, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.

Oh, and Freddie's death. But hey, they've got a new lead singer now....

With all my respect, i'm really wondering how the hell you can say that
Theres no voice like Freddie Mercury's - Ashlee Simpson's voice does sound like utter shit. She really has a terrible voice, in fact she cant sing at all. But I dont think i'm alone here to believe Freddie's voice was amazing... And if you really think Freddie had no voice, then I'm kind of wondering what do you actually consider as a great voice...
I can also hardly understand how you can say that the red speacial had a bad sound... like, hello...
If you cant stand Freddie's voice and brian's guitar sound, then what are you doing here ? What do you like about Queen ?...

yes it was plain to see, yes it was meant to be...

Got to love sarcasm...Anyway:

Best: A Day At The Races, John's afro, Live Aid, the video for I'm Going Slightly Mad and Brian's guitar solo on You Don't Fool Me.

Worst: Party, the Body Language video and Brian's spandex pants in the 80's.

OK, as you saw it before from other's people posts I was being very sarcastic.

I mean, C'mon... if the true essence of Queen are Freddie's voice, along with Brian's Red Special guitar, how could anyone hate that?
As far as I'm concerned Brian's solos on Queen songs don't go over a minute long like many other guitarists who want to show off their skills.

Where was that when the audience started booing when Freddie wore drag during IWTBF? That might have been kinda bad.

And when the crown didn't rise up correctly at the beginning of the show and they had to lower it to try again lol

Musically:
The Best
- Innuendo, A Night At The Opera & A Day At The Races
- the 74-77 live era
- Freddie's voice, Brian's virtuoso guitar playing, Roger's dynamic drummming and backing vocals, John's discrete but efficient bass playing, and of course their combined songwriting talents

The Worst
- the Hot Space sound (very clumsy attempt to grab the US market after "Another One Bites The Dust" went to n°1 there)
- the Wyclef Jean, 5ive, Robbie Williams, Britney Spears jobs - but Freddie has nothing to do with it, of course

Extra-musically:
The Best:
- Freddie's courage against illness
- Live Aid (generosity, professionalism: unforgettable!)
- "where there's a will, there's a way": how an obscure student band became a true Britsh institution
- some videos ("Bohemian Rhapsody", "Innuendo", "These Are The Days Of Our Lives")

The Worst
- Freddie's moustache and leather outfit
- Sun City
- their 80's looks (especially Roger)
- some videos ("Body Language", "I Want To Break Free")

Both artistically and commercially

- best:

74 - 77 era
The massive success of "The Game"
Live Aid
Magic Tour
Innuendo
Tribute Concert
Huge success of Made In Heaven
WWRY

- worst:

Hot Space, Queen lose their popularity in the US
A Kind Of Magic - successful, but artistically their poorest moment TO DATE
Freddie's illness and death
From 1999 now on:
Under Pressure Rah Mix
We Will Rock You + Five
So called "Queen" concerts with guest vocalists
Queen's comeback

Best moments are just ab out everything except Freddie's illness and death,(duh)and what bugs me is the fact that Roger and Freddie smoke or smoked. Alot of the people in my family smoke and it just hurts knowing the fact that every time they suck in the smoke, they are surely but slowly killing themselves.

I am not obsessed, I just have a one-track mind. (Obessed people go to counceling.)
