I know this may anger some people but lets see what happens. lets say back in the 70s or 80s that hypethetically speaking Freddie or Brian were unable to play who would people like to see try to perform like them in the band. On lead guitar i wouldnt mind seeing Dave Gilmour or Jimmy Page and as Vocalist maybe Jagger or Bowie.
I know it might seem stupid but i would like to know what other artists people might like to see perform for Queen.

Let's assume neither Freddie, Brian, Roger or John had ever been born - who would you like to have formed Queen? I suggest John, Paul, George and Ringo.

If we're talking just a quick fill (say a night or so) then, for Brian, I'd say Clapton. And for Freddie (if it were the 80's) George Michael. Hands down. But if you mean a complete replacement, Nobody.

There can be only ONE to sing - Mr Joe Elliott, all others can't match him. And on guitar i would have Steve Clark - anyone better? (Methinks not)

queen were one hell of a high energy band with so the artists that have been mentioned must be able to match that energy... i dont think so fellas,
p.s slash is cool.
and brian may who is a big leppard fan would prob have anyone of em in his band,
g-michael=great singer-slow love songs(half of them are in a whisper) could'nt handle a full on queen show he hasnt got the range,(im a big georgie fan) but let him stick to his lovey dovey songs lol

yeah I'm really not one to talk bad about anyone posting. No such thing as a stupid question ya know(well sometimes) because is a rather silly question. Like the first person who responded "lets say no original members started the, who would you like to see there"

anyhoo

that aside

Whoever said Neil Peart as a drummer has an A+ in my book

Either Slash or David Gilmour in Brian's place and I think George Michael could've done a great job standing in as Freddie.

QUEEN IS QUEEN,

but................could be Eric Clapton or Gustavo Cerati or George , then Hendrix in back up, Paul Mccartney on the bass guitar, Bonzo on Drums and Elton John or Billy Joel on Piano and Lead Voice, but this it only a dream because Queen is gonna be Queen forever, and there are a lot of names out

No one

Queen were that great because of the chemistry between all four members, so I would not replace any of them.

Hypothetically, these would be my choice

Lead Vocals - George Michael
Guitar - Jimmy Paige/Eric Clapton
Drums - John Henry Bonham
Bass - Flinn (chilli peppers)

But queen as are (or were) are perfect combo

actually, if it werent for Queen then i wouldn't like rock and roll at all, so it would be weird to say who i would choose if Brian and Freddie weren't in the band, because freddie's voice is basically what interested me.
