i'm carving an owl out of pine wood. It's fun, does any one else do carving? if so, how long have you been doing it? I'm also teaching myself Japanese on www.japanese-online.com. Does anyone know how to speak it? watashi wa airurando-jin desu.

I would like to know how to carve...It sounds fun! And you can sell them!

yeh, last year I had a sale out the front selling carved animals(they're my specialty!) and I made around 200.

actually ladycoolcat, you can go on a web site called www.woodcarvers.org and it sort of aimed for beginners but has a few handy tips!
