Return to Oz (Scissor sisters) - relive Queen circa 1978-84 with sustained guitars and distincly familiar harmony chorus (not to mention backwards vocal section)

I love that song and I agree, it does sound Queen-like, though maybe from an earlier period. I was listening to Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins last night and a couple of tracks sound kind of like Queen, especially the guitars.

I think Friday Night by The Darkness sounds like Queen... well, just the guitar solo.

It's great song, but to me it always sounded more like some early Pink Floyd than Queen. Still, a great song.

I think it's probably the huge amount of multi-layering that is evident on that album which gives off a queeny vibe. Billy Corgan actually said in a melody maker interview at the time that Queen 2 was in his top 5 albums of all time, so that could have something to do with it...

"I'll probably make loads of plans, and then just sit around on my bottom all day long and do nothing." The Man In The Shadows says it like it is.

Some of the Extreme III album - 'Seven Sundays' sounds like a tribute

Heal The Pain by George Michael kind of sounds like Who Needs You - just the way he delivers his vocals and the acoustic guitar both sound so Queen!
