Queen featuring Paul Rodgers - Belfast and Dublin dates

Odyssey Arena, Belfast - 13 May
Point Theatre, Dublin - 14 May

Queen have announced that they will perform across Europe over a six-week period taking in two Irish dates at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 13 May and the Point Theatre, Dublin on 14 May 2005. Tickets for the Dublin date will be available from Friday 11 March while tickets for the Belfast date will be available from Saturday 12 March at 09:30.

Queen's imminent return to the stage in partnership with Paul Rodgers, the legendary former Free and Bad Company singer, has been greeted with much excitement by their millions of fans. After weeks of speculation, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers unveiled their Spring 2005 tour plans in full and this will be the first time Queen have toured since 1986.

Says Brian May: "I never thought I would be doing this again. I was always against the idea of putting someone in there trying to impersonate Freddie in any way. Then suddenly I'm lo! oking at this guy who doesn't in any sense try to take the place of Freddie. He's nothing like Freddie because he comes from his own place".

Queen and Paul Rodgers will be performing Queen songs, plus several familiar songs made famous by Rodgers.

Don't miss your chance to see Queen and Paul Rogers live at the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on 13 May and the Point Theatre, Dublin on 14 May. Tickets for the Dublin date will be available from Friday 11 March while tickets for the Belfast date will be available from Saturday 12 March at 09:30 and can be purchased from Ticketmaster.ie.
