If they plan something like this, they should do it as some other bands did many times before: make the full show available at the venue right after the gig.
(Or, as many other bands also did, give people a chance to 'plug in' to the mixing desk)
If this is meant to prevent bootlegging, it indeed will not work. We all know how we are: we want the full show and nothing but the FULL show. If there is one 'oohooh' missing in an official release, we still all want the bootleg.
But don't worry: I'm sure every show on this tour will be bootlegged. They will surface one day ;-)
I think it is a very good move to give the funds of these downloads to charity though.
