I don't know guys, but I see some pattern in here.
When Freddie wrote BoRhap and they recorded and released it as a single- half of the world loved it (and still loves), but the other half hated it (and still hates it)- love it or loath it

When a famus rock band decided to record sth like HOT SPACE half of their fans went with that and loved it, they also won some new audience, but the other half absolutely hated it (and still hates it- me included)

When guys after so many years of "no synthesisers" decided to go pop and record songs with almost no guitar in them (Body Language, IWTBF) half of a fanbase hated it (nad still hates it) and the other half loved it (and still loves)

Even generaly- Queen is one of those bands that ppl either love or hate. Some get it, some don't... Not sure why, but that's how it is- love it or loath it...

Now- with Paul Rodgers and this tour it's pretty much the same... Half of the fanbase went bananas, the other half is excited as hell- the ridiculous discussions about legacy is just the proof of how heated the whole thing is... Now I see a pattern here...

i've got some news for you- They just don't give a flying fuck what you lot think. And never did. They just do their thing and you have a choice- you can indulge or stay away. It was always like that. They have never given a shit about what you lot think. And you know what, guys? I think that's one of the main, MAIN reasons why I love them (even if I really don't like recordings from 1982-86)... It's THEIR band that I love, not mine...

Queen have a particular humor that unfortunately some people can't reach. It's because they always have been a band that was or loved or hated.
The people who hates this tour are people who are fans of Freddie Mercury, not fans of Queen. They could be the "fans" that hated "hot space" in 1982 (I don't mean loving that album today after 23 years from its realise).
But Queen have made their exellent music because there were made by a certan Brian May, a certain John Deacon and a certain Roger Taylor too and they gave in their music the SAME help that Freddie Mercury gave when they were writing stuff.
A lot of times Freddie Mercury told that Queen weren't Freddie Mercury and the others, but they were Freddie, Brian , John and Roger.
So someone hates this tour because he doesn't care at all to see Brian and Roger, but he want Freddie to come back from the hell to see playng "Love kills".

I think that this tour is the best tribute that you could make to Freddie Mercury. His music still keeps to be played so is the best way to keep alive Freddie in the minds of the fans.
Hating this tour means "Ok, freddie is gone, now let's close the Queen chapter in the music history".

I don't think anybody complains about the tour itself. It's just that many people (me included) are a bit worried if we get a great show in the Queen style or not. Based on the past ten years - we saw some great stuff and we saw some horrible events. Hopefully the tour will be from the first category.
