When the brixton gig was announced....people were mad that the only way to get tickets was through the fan club..and on ebay they were going for hundreds of pounds....
Well i have just picked up a pair of tickets for way less than face value from ebay..and there are plenty more on there. Does anyone know why this has happened?

Basically lottery was a disaster and 4 days before the gig the venue is still NOT SOLD OUT. As ridiculous as it is- that's the truth. You can go personally to box office and pay exactly 55 pounds per ticket and it's given to you straight away. All those suckers who paid 300-400 pounds on eBay... Well... If someone is that stupid and rich...
If it was in general sale from beginig- it would have sold out in minutes. But... Check out few threads about lottery, you'll find out about the whole "progress" of the Brixton saga...

The whole thing is a complete and utter f****** shambles!! Glad you've got a ticket though!

Know what I think...stuff Brixton altogether!! Just because it's the first show on the tour and everyone wants to be the first to see the show doesn't mean that it's going to be the best!!

Most people have probably got tickets for later shows anyway because of the lottery rules...having to wait to see if they've won so have bought other tickets in case they haven't!!

I'm just glad to see one show on this tour. The price of tickets has put me off going beserk on the plastic!! I'll get excited when they really hit the UK in May after getting pumped up and primed on mainland Europe!!

We all of us deeply apologise for this god forsaken shit heap of a building...but we will make it rock.
