I seem to remember that the 12' single of either Cowboys and Indians or Shove it had an alternative version of Love Lies Bleeding.

Is my memory incorrect ?

Yup, there is a noticably different mix for this track, and a subtle change in name between the versions:- "SHE WAS A Wicked, Wily Waitress" and "SHE'S A Wicked, Wily Waitress". I need to check which is on which release, but I have all of The Cross 7"/12"/CDS, so can advise (and provide a copy of the alternative mix) if wanted?

I'm sure that the solo is the same on both versions, and is by Brian. Got a 3 week old baby a the moment so not much time to check, but will do soon!!
