You'll find Alex Lorias' "Barcelona" here:

http://anothercosmos.com/may/sounds/fans/BarcelonaAlex.mp3

The rest of his works as well as a lot of fan recordings can be found at Maki's wonderful site at:

http://timelily2.com

I have the following covers:

Barcelona
Russell Watson & Mel C

Bohemian Rhapsody
Dream Theatre

Show Must Go On
Dana International [it's in Hebrew - are you sure you want it?]

We Will Rock You
Evian
Macy Gray (Japanese ‘Trouble With Being Macy’ CD) [not 100% if I still have a copy of this one]
Valensia

If you want any of the above I'll make it a point to upload them to Rapidshare or to my account at 100webspace.com

P.S.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Dream Theater is part of a track called "The Big Medley".

I have a recording of TYMD credited to LA Guns, but I imagine that it's Velvet Revolver.

Should we just upload covers into this thread for everyone to share?

I have a few of the ones John is missing, and there are quite a few I'd like. If we all upload our covers to here, we can all "share the music" :)

Doesn't she ever!! Excellent work! Anyone know if she's a pop star in her own right? She can sure sing. I reckon Freddie would have loved it.

OK, forget that. I followed the link and checked it out. She's obviously a rising star in the land of the rising sun.

Just out of curiosity - has anyone ever heard any of the tracks on my "Covers - Wanted" list?

Are these versions any good, or are they a load of b*llocks?

She's been an artist for a few years actually.

If you'd like to know, her album "Exodus" was her debut in the western English territories, and was released last year.

Also, I just found an interview she did with our Brian May a few years on the phone (unsure of year), which can be downloaded in parts at:

http://timelily2.com/interview.html

Neat. Never thought she'd have a slight more connection with Queen than I thought.

Of the ones left, I don't think I've heard any other than Robert Plant doing Crazy Little Thing Called Love. But that was live at the FM Tribute, and I'm sure you've heard that. Do you mean he has recorded a studio version?

There is one listed (TYMD by Various Artists) I'm not sure of. I have mp3s of a cd called Dragon Attack which features that song. But there are only 11 tracks. TYMD is one of them though (no 7). Could it be that one or is it another compilation you are thinking of?

I'd love to hear Radiohead doing CLTCL. That'd be cool.
